AROPOL F 207 TPB is a flame retarded, orthophthalic acid based, polyester resin of low viscosity.

  • Oxygen index (ASTM D 2863-70) – 23,5 %,
  • Viscosity, Brookfield at 23°C (RVT, sp2/ 10rpm) – 1200 mPas,
  • Viscosity at  23°C (cone&plate) – 230 mPas,
  • Geltime at 23°C (1,0 % MEKP) – 50 min,
  • Peak exotherm at 23°C (1,0 % MEKP) – 130°C.

AROPOL F 207 TPA is a fire retardant, orthophthalic acid based, polyester resin of low viscosity.

AROPOL F 207 TPB is recommended for use in manufacturing of boats, life boats, mass transit etc.

AROPOL F 207 TPA is approved by Det Norske Veritas (Class 2) and Germanischer Lloyds for construction of small crafts. It is also classified as “Class A” according to U.T.A.C. ST 18-502 (used in internal parts of buses) and approved by Registro Italiano Navale (RINA, Certificate No. DIP/1048/97) according to the Rules for the Type Approval of composite materials intended for hull construction.
