TRIGONOX 249VR – 30 KG

Special initiator with lower exothermic peak compared to standard products based on methyl ethylketone peroxides. It contains red dye, which fades during resin curing.

Parameters:

Form – clear liquid,
Amount of active oxygen – 8,3–8,6 %,
Ts max – 25°C (maximum storage temperature),
SADT – 60°C (self-accelerating decomposition temperature).

A mixture of methyl ethylketone peroxide and kumyl hydroperoxide in dimethyl phthalate.

Special initiator, a composition of peroxides, used to cure unsaturated polyester, vinyl and acrylic resins in the presence of metal salts at room temperature.

In relation to standard ketone peroxides, it has a lower exothermic peak, so it can be used in hot climates.

It is used in laminates and polymer castings.

The VR product series contains a red dye, which disappears during the curing of the resin. The final product is not red.
